My approach to capturing your love combines a mixture of documentary storytelling with naturally posed portraiture. My focus is always on the authentic moments (big or small) and emotions (toothy grins or tears of joy) that make your day and your love story unique and beautiful. I take on a limited number of weddings each year in order to ensure that I get to know each of my couples well and to provide the highest level of personal service and guidance throughout the planning process. You'll feel completely at ease and like we're good friends by the time your wedding day arrives. That ease helps me capture who you really are - you're most genuine and unguarded selves - so you can look back years later and realize you still walk holding hands and look into each other's eyes in the exact same way.
Your wedding day is a beginning. It's the start of your marriage and the next phase of two lives lived as one. You value photographs to document the moments that will tell the story of your wedding day - from the tears welling up as you see each other for the first time, to the smiles during your first dance as a married couple. There’s no better way to relive your day and honor and share your story with loved ones than through an heirloom piece that will last as long as your marriage.
Archival albums are handcrafted with either Italian leather or premium linen covers. They tell your wedding day love story and are handcrafted and made to last for generations. Glass keepsake boxes are handmade with antique gold soldered edges. Each includes a piece of silk ribbon to tie up your prints and leave them beautifully and safely displayed.
honoring your love
Can you hold the date for us?
before your wedding
Dates are reserved with the signing of the contact and payment of the deposit. However, if we have met and you're still in the process of making a decision, I will never give your date away without reaching back out to give you a chance to decide before I give the date away to another couple.
Your collection total, including any applicable taxes, is split into three payments. The first is a deposit due upon signing your contract with me, the second is due six months prior to your wedding, and the final payment is due one month prior to your wedding. All payments can be made online with a credit card or you can mail a check.
I have general liability insurance and equipment insurance and I’m happy to provide proof of insurance to your venue if needed.
I will work with you to develop a complete list of family portrait combinations. Similarly, if there are special, unique, or sentimental elements planned for your day I would love to know about them ahead of time. Otherwise, I will capture your love story as it unfolds and by you granting me the freedom to tell your story as I see it, you’ll end up with much more genuine images. If you hire me, it should be because you feel 100% secure in my creativity and professionalism.
I currently do not charge travel fees for New England weddings within a two-hour drive from Boston. I’m more than happy to venture beyond New England as well, and in that case I do charge a travel fee that is adjusted on a case-by-case basis and allows me to cover the cost of my journey as necessary to best capture your wedding.
on your wedding day
Do you work with a second photographer?
Always. I believe that the real love story is often found in the small moments and the moments in between. Having a second photographer with me for the day allows me to get two perspectives in the big moments, as well as capture more of the small moments that tell your full love story.
Ideally, I plan 90 minutes to two hours total. This includes time for family, bridal party, and couple’s portraits. I will work closely with you or your wedding planner to create a timeline tailored to your needs. And of course, if things run late and we only have 20 minutes – I will still deliver you beautiful portraits.
Absolutely. One of the most important parts of your wedding day is having all of your loved ones in one place. I'll work with you prior to your wedding to create a complete list of family portrait combinations and I’ll bring the list with me on your wedding day so know we got every family combo you wanted.
Absolutely! All you need to do is ask. My rate for each additional hour is $500 and I’ll invoice you after the wedding night so you don’t have to worry about it in the moment.
We'll work together prior to your wedding to create a rain plan for all of your formal portraits. We'll find an alternative you love and the most important part is knowing we have a plan in place, even if we don't need to use it!
after your wedding
How long until we see our photos?
Your photos will be ready for you 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. I’ll post a preview for you within 48 hours of your wedding though, so you won’t have to wait 6 weeks to see how gorgeous you looked on your wedding day!
Generally, you'll receive around 800 images from 8 hours coverage of your wedding day. And every single photo you receive is edited to ensure the highest quality finished product.
All of the files in your final gallery are edited and any images that do not make it into your final gallery are duplicates, light tests, etc. Therefore, when I curate your images, ones that do not make it into your gallery are not saved. To protect my brand and high standards of quality, I never deliver unedited files.
As the artist who created the images, I retain the copyright. However, all digital products include personal printing rights. That means you're welcome to share them digitally and in print.
When I get home from your wedding I upload all of the images into two places. They go on an external hard drive and automatically back up onto the cloud. I keep all of your images on memory cards until I deliver your final gallery. When your images are ready, the final edits are uploaded into an online gallery that serves as a third backup.
We'll hop on a call about six months before your wedding to talk in detail about your wedding day timeline. We'll ensure you have the time you need for the photos you want and answer any questions that have come up so far.
You two will have a blast snuggling in front of my camera for your engagement session! We'll pick a spot that's both beautiful and meaningful to the two of you and create magic together.
You'll get a copy of the LRP Wedding Experience Magazine full of original content I've compiled just for my LRP soulmates to help you in the planning process and provide countless tips for gorgeous photos.
I'll host in my home & we'll get to know each other while we sip wine and snack on cheese and dark chocolate (or we chat on the phone!). We'll talk about your love story and wedding day and answer all of your questions.
About six weeks after your wedding, you'll get to relive your wedding day in an online gallery brimming with photos. And we'll design your heirloom wedding album so you can relive the day for years to come.
You two will say your vows, hug your family, dance with your friends, and have the best day ever!
A week or two before your wedding we'll hop on the phone for a final conversation. It's a quick touch point to make sure I have all of the details I need for your big day.
About two months before your wedding I'll send along a questionnaire that will help you finalize your timeline and plan out your family portrait combinations. This way, you don't have to be worry about them on your wedding day!
Lynne was so essential in the wedding planning process--she was so helpful in all the logistics. During the wedding day, she was cool, calm, and collected in all the chaos! She had such beautiful visions for the pictures. They are beautiful!
We did not feel like clients, she made us feel as though she was honored to be a part of our wedding...On our wedding day Lynne did an amazing job of being both present and in the background. She was there for all of our special moments.
We are so grateful that we found Lynne! She is beyond personable and so easy to work with. She really took the time to get to know us and we felt so comfortable spending our wedding day with her. She goes above and beyond in every detail.
She's extremely professional, personable, funny, detail oriented and flexible. She made me and my husband, who are both photo shy, feel at ease throughout our whole wedding day. Everyone who's seen our wedding photos is in awe of how great they came out!
