My approach to capturing your love combines a mixture of documentary storytelling with naturally posed portraiture. My focus is always on the authentic moments and emotions that make your day and your love story unique and beautiful. I take on no more than twenty weddings each year in order to ensure that I get to know each of my couples well and to provide the highest level of personal service and guidance throughout the planning process. You'll feel completely at ease by the time your wedding day arrives. That ease helps me capture who you really are - you're most genuine and unguarded selves - so you can look back years later and realize you still walk holding hands and look into each other's eyes in the same way.

Can you hold the date for us?

frequently asked questions

Dates are reserved with the signing of the contact and payment of the deposit. However, if we have met and you're still in the process of making a decision, I will never give your date away without reaching back out to give you a chance to decide before I give the date away to another couple.

How Do You Take Payment?

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

SHOULD WE PROVIDE A SHOT LIST OF PHOTOS?

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?

Your collection total, including any applicable taxes, is split into three payments. The first is a deposit due upon signing your contract with me, the second is due six months prior to your wedding, and the final payment is due one month prior to your wedding. All payments can be made online with a credit card or you can mail a check.

I have general liability insurance and equipment insurance and I’m happy to provide proof of insurance to your venue if needed.

I will work with you to develop a complete list of family portrait combinations. Similarly, if there are special, unique, or sentimental elements planned for your day I would love to know about them ahead of time. Otherwise, I will capture your love story as it unfolds and by you granting me the freedom to tell your story as I see it, you’ll end up with much more genuine images. If you hire me, it should be because you feel 100% secure in my creativity and professionalism.

I currently do not charge travel fees for New England weddings within a two-hour drive from Boston. I’m more than happy to venture beyond New England as well, and in that case I do charge a travel fee that is adjusted on a case-by-case basis and allows me to cover the cost of my journey as necessary to best capture your wedding.

Do you work with a second photographer?

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE RESERVE FOR PORTRAITS?

DO YOU TAKE POSED FAMILY PORTRAITS?

IF WE'RE RUNNING LATE, WILL YOU STAY LATER THAn SCHEDULED?

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Always. I believe that the real love story is often found in the small moments and the moments in between. Having a second photographer with me for the day allows me to get two perspectives in the big moments, as well as capture more of the small moments that tell your full love story.

Ideally, I plan 90 minutes to two hours total. This includes time for family, bridal party, and couple’s portraits. I will work closely with you or your wedding planner to create a timeline tailored to your needs. And of course, if things run late and we only have 20 minutes – I will still deliver you beautiful portraits.

Absolutely. One of the most important parts of your wedding day is having all of your loved ones in one place. I'll work with you prior to your wedding to create a complete list of family portrait combinations and I’ll bring the list with me on your wedding day so know we got every family combo you wanted.

Absolutely! All you need to do is ask. My rate for each additional hour is $500 and I’ll invoice you after the wedding night so you don’t have to worry about it in the moment.

We'll work together prior to your wedding to create a rain plan for all of your formal portraits. We'll find an alternative you love and the most important part is knowing we have a plan in place, even if we don't need to use it!

How long until we see our photos?

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET? ARE ALL OF THEM EDITED?

CAN WE SEE MORE? CAN WE HAVE THE UNEDITED FILES?

DO WE GET THE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?

HOW DO YOU BACK UP AND PROTECT OUR PHOTOS?

Your photos will be ready for you 6-8 weeks after your wedding date. I’ll post a preview for you within 48 hours of your wedding though, so you won’t have to wait 6 weeks to see how gorgeous you looked on your wedding day!

Generally, you'll receive around 800 images from 8 hours coverage of your wedding day. And every single photo you receive is edited to ensure the highest quality finished product.

All of the files in your final gallery are edited and any images that do not make it into your final gallery are duplicates, light tests, etc. Therefore, when I curate your images, ones that do not make it into your gallery are not saved. To protect my brand and high standards of quality, I never deliver unedited files.

As the artist who created the images, I retain the copyright. However, all digital products include personal printing rights. That means you're welcome to share them digitally and in print.

When I get home from your wedding I upload all of the images into two places. They go on an external hard drive and automatically back up onto the cloud. I keep all of your images on memory cards until I deliver your final gallery. When your images are ready, the final edits are uploaded into an online gallery that serves as a third backup.

Where do I begin? We love Lynne! She is so talented and a blast to work with. We worked with her throughout the wedding planning process, and she made everything so easy. We had so much fun with her at our engagement picture photo shoot, and the pictures were beautiful. She helped us work through some wedding-day logistics--she was spot on with all of her recommendations. On the day of the wedding, she was AMAZING. Lynne was cool, calm, and collected in all the chaos. Her vision for the pictures was beautiful. I trust her entirely, and recommend her full-heartedly! Thank you for everything, Lynne!!

We instantly noticed that Lynne's photos really captured the joy and emotion that couples and families experience at a wedding. What really sold us was meeting Lynne...She was warm, welcoming, and informative. She had a great portfolio that broke down what she offered and how our day would potentially unfold...After we signed our contract Lynne check in on us at several intervals throughout our planning... We did not feel like clients, she made us feel as though she was honored to be a part of our wedding. On our wedding day Lynne did an amazing job of being both present and in the background. She was there for all of our special moments, and she got awesome pictures of our guests. Lynne provided us with amazing photos that truly showed the joy we felt on our wedding day.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Lynne to photograph our wedding! She was such an integral part of our planning process and is so professional and personable. She walks through every step of the process with you and helps you craft a timeline for your big day that makes everything as stress-free as possible. Her passion for photographing couples shines through in everything she does. Her attention to details means that every aspect of our big day (the flowers, the details on my dress, the jewelry I wore) will be there to remember for years to come. Each of our wedding photos is truly a work of art.

Lynne was a dream to work with throughout the entire planning process, with frequent check-ins, personal calls, and video chats! Lynne is such a thorough professional and made us feel comfortable and special from day one. She even sent us the sweetest surprise treats and notes, which was such a beautiful touch. The photographs that Lynne took for both our engagement session and for our wedding turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. During our wedding day, Lynne was flexible and made a real connection with our entire bridal party. She made the experience fun and relaxed, and her professionalism and knowledge helped to make our day even more special and stress-free.

If my husband and I had to do our wedding over again and could only hire a single professional, it would undoubtedly be Lynne. Lynne is professional, responsive, organized, and incredibly talented. She took beautiful photos of our rehearsal dinner and was unobtrusive and professional in the very intimate setting...  After the family portrait session, my dad remarked that he expected the photos to be much more painful based on previous weddings he had attended (which is high praise!). Lynne has an enviable mix of efficiency and poise- she never made anyone feel rushed but somehow managed to stay ahead of schedule the entire day despite a last minute change in plans due to rain, and was flexible with spontaneous group photos at the reception.

We are so grateful that we found Lynne! She provided an exceptional experience from our first phone call through the wedding day and receiving our photos. She is beyond personable and so easy to work with. She really took the time to get to know us and we felt so comfortable spending our wedding day with her. She goes above and beyond in every detail. Our photos turned out amazing! We highly recommend using her and really couldn't imagine using any other photographer for our wedding!
