On one of the steamiest days of the year in the summer of 2018, I joined my talented friend Jessica K. Feiden for the Zorvino Vineyards wedding of A & T.  You can see Jessica’s full blog post of their day here. It was truly the hottest and most humid day we had all summer and A & T loved every second of it! We spent time cooling off inside between portraits and after the ceremony, and the lovely sunshine and gorgeous setting provided by Zorvino Vineyards made the heat worth it. I love the tiered landscape at Zorvino and the fact that we were able to stroll through the vineyards with A & T for portraits.

Getting Ready

T and his guys got ready at a nearby hotel. They spent the morning relaxing, went to an arcade over lunch, and were in high spirits as they started to get ready. T gave each of the groomsmen wooden mugs for toasting and he sported fun argyle socks with his three-piece navy suit. He and A exchanged notes and gifts before they saw each other and I loved capturing T’s face as he read the note and opened his gift from A. He was so excited about the hats and they look great him. He planned to pack all of them for their honeymoon!

Ceremony at Zorvino Vineyards

The light was beautiful for thier Zorvino Vineyards wedding and in addition to sunglasses, A & T offered their guests programs in the form of fans that came in handy during the outdoor ceremony. They chose not to have a first look, so the ceremony was the first time they saw each other and it was great to see them take each other in with huge smiles on their faces at the start of the ceremony. The ceremony was full of tender and lighthearted emotion and everyone sheered as A & T walked back down the aisle as newlyweds.

Bridal Party Portraits

After the ceremony we paused for a few minutes to freshen up and then jumped into bridal party and family portraits. The sunset was long and lingered throughout the evening. The light just got better and better and it made for gorgeous photos! The pale blushes and creams in the florals made for a gorgeous summer palette offset against the pale blue dresses of the bridemaids and navy suits worn by the groomsmen. Their friends were so full of positive energy and joy that they kept it fun and did a great job of helping A & T stay cool and throughout the portraits.

Newlyweds Portraits At Zorvino Vineyards

We ended with couples portraits before heading into the reception. The timing could not have been more perfect, with golden hour light seeping through the trees. A & T are cute, fun, and affectionate together and they made our job so easy! We strolled through the rows of grapes and took photos under the arbors around the grounds. There are so many beautiful vignettes at Zorvino Vineyards, that we didn’t have to go far to be inspired and find great nooks to stop in for portraits.

First Dance

A & T were announced into their reception and went right into their first dance. There’s a loft in the venue that made for a great vantage point for me as the second photographer, while Jess was downstairs. They danced the night away in air conditioning, only pausing to cut their cake! IT was such a fun and beautiful day! Congratulations again A & T!
