For Charlotte, The Field Club held a childhood full of happy memories. Over time, it became special to Ean as well. Their journey began at St. Lawrence University where they were both undergrads, setting the stage for a lifetime of love and shared adventures.
The club was the perfect backdrop for their al fresco wedding and the beginning of the rest of their lives together. French blue accents and thoughtful details like personalized matchbooks and menu cards added an extra layer of charm to the relaxed and joyous atmosphere of the day.
Getting Ready
They started their morning off getting ready separately with their friends and family. Charlotte and her bridesmaids headed to the salon for hair and makeup off site. She and her girls wore coordinated nap dresses as they got ready. It was such a cute look and absolutely perfect for this summer wedding. After heading back to the venue, Charlotte’s mom and sister helped her into her beautiful dress.
Ean and his guys hung out at a nearby hotel the morning of his big day. They got ready together at the hotel before heading to the club for the first look with Charlotte.
First Look
Ean and Charlotte chose the front of the club to do their first look. It was the perfect spot with its preppy New England feel. The anticipation of the first look is so special, and this one did not disappoint. Ean gushed over his beautiful bride and twirled her around to see her beautiful gown.
Charlotte stunned in her sleek low chignon hairstyle and a timeless A-line dress, adorned with a breathtaking bow that added an extra touch of elegance. Ean looked equally dashing in his pale blue summer suit, a perfect complement to the sunny summer day.
Ceremony at Field Club of Greenwich
Charlotte and Ean exchanged vows under a canopy of sun-dappled trees on the beautiful grounds of the property. It was an absolutely beautiful scene. They were surrounded by their intimate wedding party and their closest family and good friends. Love was in the air, and their guests were excited to celebrate the bride and groom. So many cheers and happy tears when they said “I Do” and became officially married!
Wedding Party Portraits at the Greenwich Field Club
Family and the wedding party gathered for portraits in front of the field club. The sunshine and classic New England vibes of the club made for the perfect backdrop!
Cocktail Hour & Reception
As the day turned to dusk, the celebration continued with a cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed each other’s company and cocktails on the club’s covered porch, while the bride and groom shared their first dance.
Dinner on the courts followed the cocktail hour. Ean and Charlotte’s parents shared a toast with guests, as did Ean’s best man and Charlotte’s two maids of honor. There was an absolutely gorgeous sunset over the courts. The couple snapped some pictures with friends as the sun dipped below the treeline. Then, it was onto the cake cutting under the covered porch with lanterns all lit up before guests celebrated the newlyweds by dancing the night away. Charlotte and Ean’s gorgeous Field Club of Greenwich summer wedding was a relaxed celebration of their love and shared connection.
