Nicole and Troy hosted a quintessential coastal New England wedding. They took their inspiration from the bride’s time growing up going to Belle Haven Club and their love of the water. No detail was missed in their celebration. Nautical accents nodded to the sailboats dotted on the water. From the buoy seating chart display to the signature drinks listed on the sails of mini sailboats at the bar, the theme was carried throughout the day.

The Night Before

The celebration started the night before their wedding. Guests gathered for a rehearsal dinner with personal touches. An artist was there to sketch guests in a fashion drawing style, a nod to Nicole’s career in the fashion industry for Zenga. Close friends and family shared toasts to the couple and enjoyed an evening of dinner and drinks.

Getting Ready

Nicole got ready at the club with her girls. Her mom and sister helped her into her bridal look before the big reveal to her bridesmaids. The girls were in mix-match dresses that embraced soft blues and perfectly accented the feeling of the day. Nicole had some really sweet moments with her nieces who were her flower girls.

Troy finished getting ready at the club before he headed down to the first look. His mom helped him with final touches and put his boutonniere on his lapel.

First Look & Portraits

The bride and groom did a first look down on the docks by the sailboats. They exchanged private vows under dramatic cloudy skies and took some time to be together before the rest of their big day. We took this time to fit in their portrait session as well. The area around the venue offers so many gorgeous spots near the water and the beautiful club. There was no shortage of backdrops to capture their time together.

Ceremony

It was time to head to the ceremony. Nicole and Troy were married on the law at the club overlooking the water. They were wed in front of an ombre arch of hydrangea in hues of white and blue. The sun came out before the ceremony so the fans and parasols for guests came in handy!

Immediately following the ceremony, the couple got into an antique car for a bubble send off. They took a short drive together to have a few moments alone before heading to their cocktail hour.

Cocktail Hour

There was lots of great fashion at the wedding and this was a great time to show it off! The guests understood the assignment for sure. They enjoyed signature drinks from the bar, sipping as they shaded themselves with their parasols.

As they got ready to head to the reception, they stopped at the seating chart display. Nicole and Troy lovingly created each of the buoys that listed the table for their guests. They were all unique and an incredible personal touch.

Reception

The reception was truly a celebration. Toasts from friends and family were funny and sweet. The maid of honor was the bride’s sister and the best man was the groom’s brother. Nicole’s mother also gave a short toast. The theme was how well Troy and Nicole love each other. They aren’t only in love, they know how to care for each other in the way they each need. They’ve changed and grown together, and they make each other better.

The reception band was AMAZING. Guests enjoyed a great time of dancing and the bride and groom kept the surprises coming during the night. There were personalized hats and totes as well as cookies with the couple’s monogram.

Nicole and Troy’s New England wedding at Belle Haven Club was a day to remember!

THE DAY WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN SO AMAZING WITHOUT THE HELP OF THESE VENDORS:
