Emily and Tyler’s Boston Harbor Hotel wedding was one of the most incredible floral displays I have ever seen! From the welcome dinner to the ceremony to the reception, the attention to detail was unbelievable.
Stationery Suite
Guests’ experiences started with the stationery suit they received. Save the dates featured a pale purple envelope liner that set the tone for a full multi-paneled and pocketed invite in layers of die-cut blue and white flowers. Welcome bags greeted guests with party essentials and a nod to New England with lobster lollipops and Cape Cod potato chips. Letterpress menu cards included a matching wax seal detail for the reception dinner.
Welcome Party + Rehearsal Dinner
Emily and Tyler kicked off their wedding festivities with their rehearsal and welcome party. The venue was decorated with gorgeous textured linens, lots of candles, and blue and white florals in blue and white chinoiserie bud vases. Their immediate family and wedding party joined them for the rehearsal dinner before all wedding guests attended the welcome party upstairs. It was such a lively atmosphere that included food stations, passed apps, drinks, a music trio, and a beautiful sunset. They snuck out for some portraits between dinner and the welcome party!
Wedding Party Florals
The blue and white colors carried through the wedding party outfits and florals. They carried all white bouquets with tiny accents of blue that really popped against their dusty gray dresses and blue suits. It was such a classic and clean look!
Ceremony Flowers
Large formal arrangements greeted guests as they entered the doors of the church. The altar had a few large formal arrangements on either side of it. Lush florals hung on the end of the pews down the center aisle, giving a secret garden vibe to the indoor church ceremony.
Cocktail Hour
After the I Do’s, guests headed to the cocktail hour. No detail was overlooked with custom blue-paneled bars and even more amazing flowers that played off the wood paneled rugged room. Signature drinks named in honor of their dog, who they included in photos and wore a sweet floral collar, added a playful feature. It was only fitting for such a floral-centered day! There was also a raw bar and fresh food stations throughout the space.
Reception
The escort cards were beautifully presented on a custom display with low florals and ivy climbing up with a blue textured background that was chosen specifically to fit their wedding. In addition, just before entering the ballroom, they set up a lounge with soft seating that featured a floral display on a large round table in multiple chinoiserie vases. The vases provided texture and height to draw guests’ eyes up to the hanging greenery above.
The ballroom was transformed into an absolutely STUNNING garden scene. Drapery, florals, and greenery swept across the ballroom entrance to welcome guests to the garden-inspired reception that was absolutely dripping in flowers. There was a floral lattice wall for guests to use for selfies and portraits, each light fixture was adorned with florals, and linens on every table and chair provided texture to reinforce the floral theme. Drapery was swathed across the ceiling to give an intimate feel to the space.
There was an epic head table with a floral runner that gives the term a new definition. It flowed off the table right down to the floor on both ends for a gorgeous statement piece. The flatware and glassware were chosen with the purpose to bring the whole design together.
Emily and Tyler’s Boston Harbor Hotel wedding weekend was truly one of a kind. Overflowing with GORGEOUS florals, every detail was so carefully crafted and executed. It was an incredible experience that guests won’t forget anytime soon!
