Courtney and Bobby’s romantic wedding at Glen Magna Farms was full of personal touches and meaningful moments. Drawing inspiration from Bridgerton and a love of flowers and feminine details, they planned the wedding of their dreams on a hot summer day. The couple met in October 2019, just before the pandemic, on a dating app. They hit it off immediately and moved in together shortly after. Everything just clicked–their humor, ambitions, everything!––and the rest is history now.
Inspiration from the Bride
This wedding was planned with every detail thoughtfully considered. Courtney found inspiration in the soft hues and romantic textures found in Bridgerton and her love of flowers, feminine details, and personal touches.
Courtney has an incredible eye for detail and even has her own design shop for paper goods and pretty stationary things. She is also an amateur floral stylist, so it was no surprise that she envisioned and brought to life the dreamiest wedding day this summer.
Handcrafted with Love
This couple thoughtfully considered every detail and added their personal touches to so many parts of their day. They took on DIY projects, and the bride designed their stationery! From vow books to place cards, matchbooks to ceremony programs, and cocktail stirrers to their own publication of the Newlywed Times, everything was perfectly curated to their tastes and liking.
Wedding Party Looks
When it was time to get ready for the wedding, Courtney and Bobby got ready separately. Continuing the romantic feel of the day, the bridesmaids wore pale blue gowns and carried colorful bouquets. Courtney went for a glam look with soft waves in her hair and an off-the-shoulder gown. She had a custom monogram stitched into her dress for her something blue. Bobby opted for classic suiting for him and his groomsmen.
Private Exchange
Courtney and Bobby choose to do a first look and then have a private moment to themselves. During this time, they exchanged private vows with one another, which was so emotional and so sweet. We also used this time to capture their wedding portraits on the beautiful grounds at Glen Magna Farms.
Romantic Ceremony
Family played a big role throughout their day. Nieces and nephews were entertained by the fountain during family photos and stole the show at the start of the ceremony. The ceremony was also officiated by a family member, making their day even more special!
Cocktail Hour & First Dance
After the ceremony, guests headed to the cocktail hour on the lawn. Everyone enjoyed lawn games and passed apps on the beautiful grounds. It was a steamy day, so fans and parasols helped to keep everyone cool.
As guests headed toward the reception, Courtney and Bobby shared their first dance. They had a choreographed dance complete with an elegant dip. The couple was beaming the whole time as friends and family members watched them.
Reception
The reception stayed true to the romantic vibes and feminine touches. Tables were adorned with candles and florals galore. As the evening went on, the candles were lit giving even more of a romantic vibe in the dim light. There was also an ice sculpture with their monogram carved into it for a touch of elegance.
Courtney and Bobby’s gorgeous wedding at Glen Magna Farms was a dream brought to life. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and no decision was made without intention. Their beautiful day is one to remember!
