Sophia and Derek’s Vermont wedding at The Lodge at Spruce Peak was a mountain wedding dream come true. These two met through work while Sophia was interning, and after she moved back home to Vermont, they started dating. Derek proposed at a family cabin in the foothills of the Adirondacks in NY. Together they planned a beautiful wedding at The Lodge at Spruce Peak with all their cloest family and friends.

Because of their love for the outdoors and the stunning views, The Lodge at Spruce Peak, nested in the mountains, was an easy choice. One of their favorite things about this beautiful venue was that everything was on-site, making it easy for them and their guests. They both were able to get ready on-site and enjoy the morning with their loved ones. 

All In The Details

To bring their wedding dreams to life, Sophia and Derek chose soft pastels and lush florals to decorate their day. It was beyond beautiful! The wedding party wore blue and white floral gowns and complimented that with chic boots to dance the night away. 

An Intimate Moment

To celebrate their love, and admire the stunning views, Sophia and Derek headed to the top of the mountain and enjoyed a gondola ride together. Together, they enjoyed moments with their loved ones and new family, as Sophia was officially welcomed in as wife and step-mom.

A Reception To Remember

As true country music fans and to help kick off the beautiful evening, everyone was treated to a country cover band that was so much fun! Ryder, Derek’s son, gave a super sweet speech where he praised Sophia’s kindness and her cooking. It was such a beautiful moment. Sophia enjoyed a dance with her dad and surprised her mom with a special song that was beyond beautiful to witness. Their sweet pups wandered from table to table, greeting their loved ones, and showering everyone with puppy hugs and kisses. 

The Lodge At Spruce Peak was the perfect host for this stunning wedding. Laughter, celebrations, family, friends, great food, and so much fun filled the evening the entire night. Sophia and Derek are an absolute joy and thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful evening with a gorgeous sunset over the mountains.
