Lauren and Jack’s NYE wedding weekend at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was the most joyful way to close one chapter and begin another. From the very first gathering in the North End to the final song after midnight, every moment felt thoughtful, elevated, and full of heart.
The weekend began with an intimate dinner at Mamma Maria’s, followed by a welcome party at Bell In Hand Tavern. Family and friends showed up ready to party, as the celebration officially kicked off the events in true Boston fashion.
Getting Ready for their NYE wedding weekend
Lauren got ready inside the iconic Fairmont Copley Plaza, surrounded by her best friends. The bridal party wore in rich emerald velvet gowns. The texture was perfect for the season.
The bride’s gown was stunning in its elevated simplicity. The structured strapless look was beautiful on Lauren. And Ali Lomazzo Beauty created a polished look that enhanced her natural bridal glow.

First Look at The Fairmont
Lauren met Jack in the hotel lobby for a quick first look. His reaction was priceless and so full of joy. Afterward, we slipped outside for some “newlywed” portraits. The air was brisk, but the cold did not stop them. Lauren had a chic white fur stole she slipped into for this moment. They braved the chill for under ten minutes, but it was worth it. The portraits were classic and romantic against the city backdrop.
Before getting ready for their ceremony, they stopped for a quick drink at the hotel bar. Everyone congratulated them, and it was a fun little break in their day together.
We also paused here for a few bridal party photos in front of the large Christmas tree in the lobby! It was a fun way to document the season and include the decor in their photos. Their entire wedding party looked so cohesive and beautiful together. What a great group of friends!

Ceremony in The Grand Hotel
The ceremony space inside the Fairmont Copley Plaza was breathtaking. Table & Tulip filled the room with lush greenery and white blooms. Hundreds of taper candles flickered beneath ornate ceilings and chandeliers. Velvet details and delicate bows adorned menus and candle bases.
Lauren and Jack shared a sweet, emotional ceremony. And there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as these two finally tied the knot and became Mr. & Mrs!

Fun-Filled Reception in the Ballroom
The reception space was a masterpiece in decor. From the elegant florals and centerpieces, to the clocks and pocket watches placed throughout as a subtle nod to the midnight countdown.
The festivities began with an epic entrance and a choreographed first dance that had guests cheering. Lauren’s father-daughter dance was also unforgettable, as they ended the song by chugging a beer together on the dance floor.
Wilson Stevens Band, Beantown kept the energy high all night as the newlyweds danced the night away with their friends. Later, Lauren changed into a sparkly party dress with comfy kicks. The dance floor stayed packed the whole evening.

Midnight at the NYE Wedding Weekend
Just before midnight, guests gathered to watch the live stream of the Times Square ball drop. Cheers filled the ballroom as the clock struck twelve. It was electric! So much fun to photograph as a Boston wedding photographer.
Late night snacks from McDonalds and Levain Bakery kept everyone fueled too!
This NYE wedding weekend at the Fairmont Copley Plaza was classic, festive, and just so much fun! Lauren and Jack know how to throw a party! And their wedding planner, Baciare Events, made sure it all came to life seamlessly.
This was the perfect beginning to their new year (and new life!) together.
