This Villa Antonia wedding editorial dreamt up by Simply XO Events was a perfect blend of modern design and old-world charm. Villa Antonia is set up in the hills in Jonestown Texas and boasts sweeping views over the surrounding Hill Country. It also “brings Tuscany to Texas,” designed with the look and feel of an Italian Villa, complete with fountains, butterfly garden, and multiple terraces for celebrating your wedding al fresco.

Modern Meets Classic at Villa Antonia

Modern design elements included beautifully patterned and textured table linens, romantic swaths of drapery for the ceremony setup, loose and lush florals throughout, and a sleek whimsical cake station and seating chart display. Tabletop elements bridged the gap between modern and classic. Chargers with a mosaic detail and pink china plates with ornate floral detailing completed the tablescapes. The vibrant pops of pink and yellow brought modern vibes to the classic backdrop of the venue for this Villa Antonia wedding editorial.

A custom-crafted invitation suite featured an invite card with a deckled edge. It was paired alongside a details card featuring a line drawing of Villa Antonia. The envelope liner mimicked the floral-patterned table linen. This also brought the beautiful pop of butter yellow all the way throughout the suite. Two different interactive place settings – one pink and one butter yellow to match the respective table designs – were equally intentional. They included elevated detailing (I love a tassel or bow!) and seamlessly combined touches of classic and modern design.

Villa Antonia Wedding Portraits

The sweetest couple, Anika and Dinesh, joined the editorial as models. Anika wore a lovely gown from Austin bridal boutique Melange Bridal and her stunning wedding day look was completed by the Lola Beauty. These two are newlyweds and they easily fell back into portraits together. From a first kiss at the ceremony, to romantic snuggles in the afternoon light, they were a dream to have in front of the camera.
