Last spring I had the pleasure to act as second photographer for my good friend Jessica K Feiden at her couple’s Tupper Manor Wedding. You can see Jess’s full blog post from the Tupper Manor Wedding here. Tupper Manor is a beautiful mansion on the edge of Endicott College’s campus. It sits on a hill with a path that leads down to a small beach with beautiful ocean views. And the day was just amazing! The weather was perfect with a gorgeous sunny day in May that was so warm it felt like summer was just around the corner.
Getting Ready & First Look
I arrived with Jess for the ladies getting ready and we styled P’s details together. I also grabbed a few shots of her finishing touches before heading to M and the guys. The guys were relaxing and playing pool in one of the front rooms of the mansion when I arrived. They kept things easygoing I styled M’s details and then documented him putting on his vest and final touches. Once he was ready, we headed to the beach to get ready for P+M’s first look.
Jessica’s couple, P+M, are so in love and their wedding party was a ton of fun all day long! The wedding party even had some extra duties that day too – with one side of the beach was packed with college students enjoying the warm weather – they acted as a human shield to lend some semi-privacy to their friends for their first look! After the initial reveal moment between P+M, we took portraits by the water, with the ladies kicking off their shoes to feel the sand between their toes.
Tupper Manor Wedding Ceremony On The Lawn
The two were married on the lawn in front of the mansion in the afternoon. Friends and family looked on as they said their vows and exchanged rings in front of the stately fountain that is a focal point of the Tupper Manor Estate. One of my favorite things about the ceremony at Tupper Manor is that the bride begins her walk down the aisle by exiting through the front doors of the mansion. It’s a beautiful way to make an entrance and I loved capturing P with her dad as she crossed the lawn with her guests looking on. Same went for the exit! P+M recessed down the aisle as newlyweds back toward the mansion and it made for an iconic shot. It was a perfect candid moment.
Thoughtful Details & A Joyful Reception
Tupper Manor has a stunning conservatory with high ceilings and walls of windows facing the ocean. In the afternoon, the light was pouring in, filtered through the lush trees on the property, making for a bright and dreamy reception space. Then, dinner and toasts were held in the conservatory as the sun was setting and it was absolutely beautiful. That room is truly a special one and all of the guests commented on how gorgeous it was. After a few more couples portraits at sunset, we moved into the ballroom for P+M’s first dance. Congratulation P+M and thanks to my sweet friend Jess Feiden for having me along on such a wonderful wedding!
