Ana and Drew’s wedding at The Bohlin in Newport, Rhode Island, was the epitome of coastal New England charm. They love Newport the most in summer and were inspired by the sailboats, ocean breeze, citrusy drinks, and salty air when planning their summer wedding. It was coastal New England vibes all day long! 

Coastal Touches

The invitations set the stage for the coastal theme with beautiful details that hinted at the seaside setting. Cocktail napkins featuring their beloved dog added a personal touch, while sailing-themed signature drinks kept guests refreshed and delighted.

They brought in pops of orange and yellow to spice up the traditional coastal palette of blue and white. The result was incredible, and especially made the bouquets pop against the bridesmaid dresses.  

A Personal Start

Ana began her day at her parents’ house, where she got ready surrounded by family and friends. The bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses. Love this trend, and the girls looked amazing. 

Drew joined Ana at her parents’ house for a touching first look before they headed to the venue for the ceremony and reception. Their excitement and love were palpable, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the day.

Ana, having worked for Orly Kohn Floral in the past, naturally had stunning florals at the heart and soul of her wedding design. The florals added a beautiful pop of color to the day, especially against the bridesmaids’ dresses.

The ceremony at The Bohlin was adorned with breathtaking florals that highlighted the coastal theme. Ana and Drew exchanged vows with the ocean as their backdrop, surrounded by friends and family. There was a gentle breeze on the water that helped to keep guests cool on an otherwise very hot summer day in July.
