So much of your wedding weekend is fast and loud, full of heightened energy and fun. And those are wonderful times: getting ready with your wedding party, chatting up loved ones at cocktail hour, raising your hands up and singing your heart out on the dance floor.

But there are slower quiet moments throughout the day, too, if you look for them: a deep breath before you head down the aisle, a squeeze of your hand or a kiss from your soulmate between portraits.

The beauty of your celebration is revealed through both of these kinds of moments intertwining all day long in an organic way. We'll prepare for your celebration before it arrives so that you can then let go and be fully present and attentive to these moments throughout your wedding weekend.

My approach to photographing your love combines a mixture of documentary storytelling with naturally posed portraiture. I love the timeless and effortless look of film and the way film captures the true moments and emotions of the day. Because of that, I'll photograph your weekend using both digital and film formats.

Can you hold the date for us?

frequently asked questions

Dates are reserved with the signing of a contact and payment of the booking fee. However, if we have met and you're still in the process of making a decision, I won't give your date away without reaching back out to give you 24 hours to decide before I give the date away to another couple.

How Do You Take Payment?

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?

All payments can be made right online with an electronic bank check (ACH) or I'm happy to accept a physical check if you prefer.

I have general liability insurance and equipment insurance and I’m happy to provide proof of insurance to your venue if needed.

I currently do not charge travel fees for weddings in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or upstate NY. I’m more than happy to venture throughout New England and beyond the Northeast as well, and in that case I do charge a travel fee that is adjusted on a case-by-case basis and allows me to cover the cost of my journey as necessary to best capture your love story.

Do you work with a second photographer?

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Always. I believe that the real love story is often found in the small moments and the moments in between. Having a second photographer with me for the day allows me to get two perspectives in the big moments, as well as capture more of the small moments that round out your love story.

We'll work together prior to your wedding to create a rain plan for all of your formal portraits. We'll find an alternative you love and the most important part is knowing we have a plan in place, even if we don't need to use it.

How long does it take to Receive our photos?

HOW DO YOU BACK UP AND PROTECT OUR PHOTOS?

Your photos will be ready for you about 10 weeks after your wedding date. I’ll post a preview for you within 48 hours of your wedding though, so you won’t have to wait to see how gorgeous you looked on your wedding day!

When I get home from your wedding I upload all of the images on an external hard drive and back them up onto the cloud. When your images are ready, the final edits are uploaded into an online gallery that serves as a third backup.

HOW MANY edited PHOTOS WILL WE GET?

Generally, you'll receive around 75 images per hour of coverage. Every photo you receive is edited to ensure the highest quality finished product.

DO WE GET THE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?

As the artist who created the images, I retain the copyright. However, all digital products include personal printing rights. That means you're welcome to download them and to share them.
