Monica and Mason are one of my sweet couples who were married in September 2021. I had the joy of photographing their engagement and wedding, so I was honored when they reached out for an in-home lifestyle session after having their son, Nathan. It is extra special to be able to watch love blossom and a family grow. 

Welcoming Nathan 

I met Monica and Mason in their home for a lifestyle session highlighting their new little addition. They are an especially sweet and loving couple. That love expanded with Nathan, and the three of them make such an adorable little family. Monica and Mason have really embraced their new roles as parents. 

Intimate Home Session

Your home can serve as the perfect backdrop for a lifestyle, especially after welcoming a new little one into your family. Not only is it often easier for new parents to keep their baby at home, but your home is the place you are making precious memories together. We started our session in the primary suite, where they had already spent plenty of time snuggling together, before moving to Nathan’s room to capture some more images. It was the perfect session to capture the little details and realities of becoming a family of three. 

Connections to Engagement 

Monica wore two dresses during her engagement session. One was a bold red as a nod to her heritage, and the second was a pale blue. It was fitting to see her and the boys all wearing soft blue tones for their session, which made this a full-circle moment. They were beautifully coordinated and gave a little nod to previous sessions. 

Family Sessions 

I don’t often share my family sessions, but I absolutely adore getting the opportunity to capture them for my couples. It is such an honor to continue to bear witness to their love as their families grow and change over the years together. From the excitement of engagement to the commitment of marriage and the joy of welcoming new life, it is an incredible privilege to be there at each step.
