This Halibut Point engagement session in Rockport, MA is the perfect dose of cozy for a winter day! Deep into the New England fall, Katie and Randy embraced the cool weather in cozy layers of sweater, scarves, and jackets. The day we met we’d originally planned for a sunset session, but the forecast called for downpours starting later in the day. So we pushed up our start time to 10am to get the session in before the storm hit. And it was a really good thing that we did! We ended up with a beautiful sunny day for the second half of our session and were tucked safely back inside when the skies opened up an hour later!

Katie and Randy are my absolute favorite kind of soulmates – they’re college sweethearts! They met in college at Lehigh and were good friends for the first two years. They started dating junior year and the rest is history! These two are super comfortable and wrap up easily together, a reflection of their years-long love. These two have a way of talking in half-thoughts to each other that they instantly understand. They kind of finish each other’s sentences without ever meaning to or cutting each other off. Basically, they would be unbeatable in a game of Taboo (do you remember that game?) and it’s adorable to witness. Needless to say, they were incredibly cute in front of the camera and I am more excited than ever for their wedding at the Beauport Hotel in November!
