There are so many beautiful Cape Cod wedding venues that it can be hard to narrow it down! Cape Cod is renowned for its sandy beaches, cotton candy sunsets, and idyllic scenes of sea grasses and dunes along the water. Preppy and nautical inspiration abound with hydrangea, saltbox homes, and fresh seafood at your fingertips. Couples who have ties to the Cape will find beautiful options for hosting a quintessentially Cape Cod wedding on the shore. You really can’t go wrong on the Cape, but all of my favorite Cape Cod wedding venues have unbeatable views of the water!

Here they are in no particular order:

1. Wychmere Beach Club

Located in Harwich Port, Wychmere boasts minimalist all-white decor with seemingly endless views of the water. Their newest venue, Dune, has a roof deck perfect for cocktail hour that overlooks the ocean. You can also opt for your ceremony on the deck or right on the beach with your feet in the sand. The Overlook is a photo spot right around the corner (technically not part of the venue) that provides a great photo op overlooking the harbor and Wychmere. 2. Chatham Bars Inn

A highlight on the property is the main building which sits on a hill overlooking the beach. This true luxury resort includes private beach access, a hotel, perfectly appointed cottages, and a restaurant on site. It’s perfect for hosting a full weekend of wedding events. Also, the gorgeous landscaping features hydrangea and terraced steps down to the beach. The elegant and spacious bridal suite has a private deck with views of the ocean. 3. Wequassett Resort

Located in Harwich, this expansive luxury resort touts beautiful cottages for guests to stay in. The grand lawn overlooks the bay and is a stunning spot for ceremonies. A permanent tent on the garden terrace, open-air patio, and newly renovated reception room provide flexibility and plenty of options for indoor-to-outdoor celebrations. The photo ops on the property are truly endless. My favorite spots include the classically Cape Cod covered deck, stone staircase adjacent to the grand lawn, the boat dock, and the brick path overlooking the harbor. 4. Chatham Beach & Tennis Club

The club is private and requires non-members be sponsored by a member in order to host a private event. But finding that sponsor is well worth it. Located on a hill with expansive views of the dunes and water, guests will be wowed as they enjoy cocktail hour with a view. Couples can tent on the property or host their reception in the club itself. The short path to the beach and through the dunes is a beautiful spot for portraits. 5. Wianno Club

Located in Osterville, MA, Wianno overlooks Nantucket Sound. The club is able to accommodate guests staying on site and the property is rich with thoughtful nautical-inspired details. A beautiful covered front porch is a welcoming entry to the property and a great portrait location. I also highly recommend sneaking away for sunset portraits on the breakwater! A stone patio and lush landscaping make for a great al-fresco cocktail hour. Finally, the warm neutrals in the reception space allow couples to truly make it their own.
